Apollo Hospitals has announced the appointment of Visionary Leader Akshay Oleti as CEO - Karnataka, strengthening its leadership in one of India’s most critical healthcare markets.

Akshay brings a diverse background spanning technology, operations, and healthcare management. He began his career as a Software Engineer at SAP Labs, where he developed ERP modules for global hospitals. After completing his MBA at IIM Bangalore, he co-architected India’s first cloud-based HMIS software, blending innovation with healthcare delivery.

Transitioning into operations, Akshay played pivotal roles at Narayana Health, leading pan-India supply chain projects, designing operational efficiency frameworks, and managing P&L responsibilities across large hospitals. His leadership also extended to Rainbow Children’s Hospitals and Fortis Healthcare, where he spearheaded business growth, cluster expansion, and end-to-end hospital management, consistently surpassing performance benchmarks.

At Apollo Hospitals, Akshay will oversee the Karnataka region, focusing on enhancing patient care, operational excellence, and strategic growth to further strengthen the group’s legacy in healthcare innovation.
