SpaceX has officially announced the acquisition of Anysphere, the company behind the rapidly growing AI coding platform Cursor, in a $60 billion all-stock transaction. According to a Form 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the deal will be executed through X67 Inc., a wholly owned SpaceX subsidiary, which will merge with Anysphere. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026.
