Tapan brings extensive experience across the automotive industry, with leadership exposure spanning business operations and strategic management. Before joining VinFast India, he held leadership roles at Hyundai Motor Company, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra, Honda Cars India and Hindustan Motors, building broad expertise across automotive operations and business leadership.
His expanded mandate comes as VinFast strengthens its presence across Asian markets. Tapan’s industry experience is expected to support the company’s growth ambitions, operational execution and market development across India and Indonesia.
