Vatsal Kumar has been appointed Head – Enterprise Center of Excellence at IDFC FIRST Bank, where he will lead enterprise-wide transformation, innovation, and strategic capability building initiatives. In this role, he is expected to drive digital transformation programs and strengthen operational excellence across the organization.

Vatsal joins the bank after nearly a decade at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he most recently served as Partner. During his tenure, he led large-scale transformation and strategy engagements across financial services and global industries, including digital transformation for leading insurers, post-merger integration programs, organizational redesign, and enterprise-wide automation initiatives.

He holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and brings deep expertise in strategy, transformation, and digital enablement.
