Snowflake has teamed up with OpenAI, marking an important strategic collaboration as it continues to strengthen its digital and technology capabilities. In this multi-year, $200 million partnership, both entities will incorporate GPT-5.2 models into the Cortex AI platform, driving digital innovation initiatives, strengthening enterprise data platforms, and enabling scalable, secure, and future-ready operations aligned with global business intelligence objectives.

The collaboration reflects a focus on leveraging technology as a key enabler of operational excellence, efficiency, and innovation. By bringing OpenAI models to enterprise data, the agreement enables organizations to build and deploy AI agents, enhancing digital resilience, and supporting cross-functional teams with robust technology solutions across the enterprise.

As part of the deal, OpenAI models will be made natively available to Snowflake’s 12,600 customers. This joint product development and go-to-market journey positions the group to accelerate its digital journey and scale enterprise AI use cases.
