Sheila Joglekar Vashee has joined Baseten as Chief Marketing Officer, bringing extensive experience in marketing, brand building, growth, customer experience and technology-led businesses. Prior to joining Baseten, she served as Chief Marketing Officer at Figma, where she led marketing, customer support, communications, brand and growth. She also served as Chief Marketing Officer & GM of Consumer at Ethos, with responsibility for marketing, brand, performance, growth and the consumer business P&L.
She has held senior growth and marketing leadership roles across technology and consumer companies, including VP Growth and Marketing at Opendoor. She has also been a Venture Partner at Basis Set, advising portfolio companies on business and growth strategy and serving on boards of stealth companies. Her experience spans go-to-market strategy, performance marketing, content, product marketing, communications, brand, customer experience and business growth. At Baseten, she will lead the company’s marketing function as it continues building and scaling its AI infrastructure platform.
