PGP Glass Pvt. Ltd. has appointed Santosh Rai as Global Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO), entrusting him with the company’s enterprise-wide digital and technology agenda across its global operations. In this role, Rai will lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives, align technology strategy with business growth priorities, and accelerate innovation to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.

With over two decades of leadership experience, Rai is recognized for delivering measurable business impact through IT modernization, digital strategy execution, robust governance frameworks, and disciplined budget management across complex, multi-location organizations. His expertise spans enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, and large-scale ERP transformations.

Prior to joining PGP Glass, Rai spent seven years at Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS), serving as Chief Information Officer and earlier as Group Head – Information Technology, where he led enterprise-wide digital transformation and data-led agility programs. His career also includes senior leadership roles at International Tractors Limited (Sonalika Group), Vardhman Textiles, Volkswagen India, VE Commercial Vehicles (Volvo–Eicher JV), AMW Motors, and AVTEC. Across these organizations, he has driven SAP transformations, greenfield IT setups, and cybersecurity standards implementation.
