Volvo Cars has appointed Klaus Zellmer as President and Chief Executive Officer, bringing an experienced automotive leader to oversee the company’s global operations and strategic direction. He joins Volvo Cars after serving as CEO of Škoda Auto since July 2022, where he led the brand through a period of transformation and international growth. With more than two decades of experience across the automotive industry, he has held senior leadership roles across the Volkswagen Group and Porsche. Before Škoda Auto, he served as Board Member for Sales, Marketing and After Sales at Volkswagen Passenger Cars. Earlier, he was President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America and Managing Director and CEO of Porsche Deutschland. He also held leadership roles in sales and marketing at Porsche AG. His extensive expertise spans automotive strategy, sales, marketing, brand management, international operations, and business transformation.
