Eapro Global Raises ₹40 Crore Ahead of Proposed FY28 IPO Energy

Roorkee-based solar and power-backup solutions manufacturer Eapro Global has raised ₹40 crore in a funding round from institutional investors, family offices and individual investors as it prepares for a proposed IPO in FY28.

The round saw participation from Aarth AIF Growth Fund, NAV Bharat Investment Opportunities Fund, VentureX Fund, Kyro India Opportunities Fund-I and Juggilal Kamlapat Lakshmipat (JK) Family Office, among others. Kyro Capital acted as the transaction adviser, while the investment marks the first transaction by Kyro India Opportunities Fund-I.

Eapro will use the fresh capital to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen technology capabilities and increase its presence across India’s renewable energy and power-backup markets. The company manufactures solar inverters, batteries and energy storage systems.

Eapro’s revenue grew 73.5% to ₹346.39 crore in FY26 from ₹199.61 crore in FY25, while EBITDA increased to ₹44.30 crore and profit after tax reached ₹30.54 crore.

The Bigger Picture

The fundraise comes as demand for energy storage, solar inverters and reliable power-backup solutions grows alongside renewable energy adoption.

Eapro’s expansion highlights the increasing role of domestic manufacturing and energy-storage technologies in India’s evolving renewable energy infrastructure.
