Nikhil Sharma has been appointed Head APAC – Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Global Business Leader at Optum. In this strategic executive role, he will lead the transformation and growth of the global RCM business, overseeing large-scale multi-country delivery operations across the APAC region to drive financial performance and digital innovation for major U.S. healthcare systems.

Nikhil brings three decades of experience in healthcare operations, enterprise transformation, and global delivery leadership. Prior to this appointment, he served as Senior Vice President & Global Business Leader at IKS Health, where he held full P&L ownership and led strategic growth initiatives for large-scale U.S. healthcare provider accounts.

Earlier in his career, he spent 13 years at Genpact, rising to the role of Vice President – Global Operations Leader, and over six years at GE Capital, where he held senior healthcare management positions.

Nikhil is recognized for combining deep domain expertise in AI-enabled revenue cycle capabilities with a strong track record in mergers and acquisitions, enterprise transformation, and board-level stakeholder engagement. In his new role at Optum, he will focus on scaling technology-driven RCM solutions and operational excellence for global healthcare clients.
