C S Muralidharan is set to assume the role of Additional Director (Non-Executive and Independent) at Emcure Pharmaceuticals, reinforcing the company’s board strength and governance framework. His appointment brings extensive expertise in global finance, regulatory compliance, and corporate oversight to support the organisation’s long-term strategic direction.

Muralidharan brings over four decades of leadership experience across the pharmaceutical and energy sectors. Most recently, he served as Group Chief Financial Officer at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, where he led global finance functions, including mergers and acquisitions, legal, governance, investor relations, and ESG initiatives.

Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals, Allergan, Mylan, Lupin, Ranbaxy, and Indian Oil Corporation. His expertise spans global finance strategy, manufacturing operations, and governance across regulated markets.
