Vedanta Limited has elevated Visionary Leader Heramb Joshi to the role of Chief Security & Intelligence Officer at Sterlite Copper, reinforcing the company’s commitment to robust security, intelligence, and enterprise risk governance across its critical operations. Based in Silvassa, Heramb now leads the Security & Intelligence function, with responsibility for threat assessment, business continuity planning, and safeguarding people, assets, and infrastructure across Sterlite Copper’s operational footprint.

Prior to this elevation, Heramb served as Chief Security Officer and Head of Department - Security & Intelligence at Sterlite Copper, where he played a key role in strengthening security frameworks and intelligence-led risk mitigation. His career within the Vedanta Group spans multiple leadership assignments at Hindustan Zinc, including Lead Intelligence, Security & CSC; Lead Security - HZAPL and Head Intelligence at RDC; and Lead Security - Organisation & Governance at the Rajpura Dariba and Chanderiya complexes.

Having progressed through the ranks from Security Officer Trainee to enterprise-level leadership, Heramb brings deep operational expertise across mining, smelting, and manufacturing environments, with strong capabilities in vigilance, intelligence, and multi-stakeholder coordination.
