HCLSoftware, the software business division of HCLTech, has announced its intent to acquire Robotiq.ai, a Zagreb-based provider of Enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology. The acquisition is expected to close in November 2026, subject to customary conditions.
The deal will add enterprise RPA capabilities to HCL UnO Agentic, enabling AI-driven workflows to execute tasks directly within applications where APIs are unavailable or insufficient. This extends HCL UnO Agentic’s capabilities from AI-driven decision-making and orchestration to automated execution.
Robotiq.ai’s platform is used by organisations across banking, insurance and telecommunications. It offers features including ISO-certified security, audit logs and flexible deployment options designed for enterprise environments.
According to HCLSoftware President Kalyan Kumar, enterprises are increasingly moving from AI experimentation toward production-scale automation that is secure, governed and reliable.
Robotiq.ai CEO and Co-founder Darko Jovišić said the combination will give the company’s technology greater enterprise reach and scale, integrating automation into broader orchestrated and governed business processes.
HCLSoftware currently serves more than 20,000 organisations, including the majority of Fortune 100 companies.
