Debjyoti Ghosh Takes Charge as Chief Operating Officer at Apollo Hospitals Leadership

Apollo Hospitals has appointed Debjyoti Ghosh as its new Chief Operating Officer, bringing with him nearly two decades of rich experience in hospital operations, strategic leadership, and P&L management. In his new role, Debjyoti will focus on driving operational excellence, patient-centric innovation, and sustainable growth across Apollo’s healthcare network.

Prior to joining Apollo, he served as Hospital Director at Manipal Hospitals (MHEPL), where he led the Kolkata unit and oversaw key business and operational functions. His leadership journey also includes pivotal roles at Medica Superspecialty Hospital, Paras Hospital, and Stemz Healthcare, where he managed multi-country operations across Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka.

During his decade-long tenure at Columbia Asia Hospitals, Debjyoti honed his expertise in diagnostics, quality management, and strategic operations. His proven track record in business process re-engineering and team leadership positions him to strengthen Apollo Hospitals’ mission of delivering world-class healthcare.
