Confido Health raises $12.5 Million to automate healthcare administration with AI Health

US-based AI healthtech startup Confido Health has raised $12.5 million in a Series A extension led by Z47, taking its total Series A funding to $22.5 million. Existing investors Together Fund and Blume Ventures also participated, while healthcare private equity investor Justin Saks joined as an investor and board adviser.

Founded in 2022 by Chetan Reddy and Vichar Shroff, Confido Health develops AI agents that automate administrative workflows for healthcare providers, including patient calls, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, prescription refills and payment collection.

Its CareOS platform integrates with more than 50 healthcare systems, including electronic health records, practice management and billing platforms, allowing providers to automate workflows without replacing their existing technology infrastructure. The company serves 3,200 providers across more than 1,500 sites in 27 US states.

Confido Health plans to use the fresh capital to expand CareOS across multi-site healthcare organisations and develop AI agents for additional workflows and medical specialities.

Why It Matters

Healthcare providers handle large volumes of repetitive administrative work. AI-powered automation can help reduce operational burden, improve workflow efficiency and allow healthcare organisations to scale administrative capacity without replacing existing systems.

Confido Health's funding highlights the shift from standalone AI tools towards AI agents embedded directly into enterprise workflows. For healthcare leaders, integrating AI with existing systems can create measurable operational efficiencies while supporting scalable digital transformation.
