Cognizant launches AI Nexus to help enterprises maximise AI returns Enterprise AI

The platform brings together five capabilities: Engage, Orchestrate, Reveal, Coach and Route. Each can be deployed independently or combined to manage AI-driven work, monitor quality and improve accountability across enterprise teams.

The launch addresses growing concerns over AI adoption and returns. Cognizant research found that two-thirds of Global 2000 leaders had yet to demonstrate measurable productivity gains from AI, while one in four had paused or abandoned deployments. The unrealised annual value of AI across these companies could reach $4.7 trillion.

A separate survey of 250 FinOps leaders found that 72% of organisations exceeded their AI budgets in the past year, while 97% experienced AI agent sessions escalating beyond expected costs or activity.

Designed to operate within enterprise environments, AI Nexus includes specialist identities, permission controls, audit trails and human approvals for critical decisions and customer-facing actions.
