BharatPe has appointed Himanshu Verma as Head – POS Business, strengthening its leadership focus on expanding merchant solutions and driving growth across its payments ecosystem.

In this role, Verma will lead the company’s POS strategy, with a mandate to scale merchant acquisition, enhance product innovation, and accelerate revenue growth. His focus will be on strengthening BharatPe’s position in the highly competitive fintech and digital payments landscape.

Prior to joining BharatPe, Verma spent over five years at Pine Labs, most recently serving as Senior Director & National Business Head for the Soundbox (Mini) business, where he led its nationwide expansion with full P&L ownership.

He has also held leadership roles at Freecharge, Indepay (Setara Networks), Essel Group, and Airtel, and began his career with organisations including Samsung, Telenor, Vodafone, and Oxigen.
