Deepika Thukral has been appointed Vice President at Axis Max Life Insurance Limited, effective March 2026. Based in Chandigarh, she will lead the strategic bancassurance partnership with Axis Bank, focusing on driving distribution growth, strengthening partner alignment, and enhancing insurance penetration through banking channels.

Deepika brings over 15 years of experience in the life insurance sector, with deep expertise in bancassurance and relationship management. Prior to this role, she served at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance for nearly eight years, most recently as Zonal Sales Manager, where she managed the HDFC Bank relationship across key regions. Her career also includes leadership roles at Max Life Insurance, Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance, and HDFC Life, after beginning her journey with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance.

Her strong track record in channel strategy and team leadership positions her to accelerate growth for Axis Max Life.
