Afaq Choonawala elevated to Head AI, Cloud & Infra Sales & Solutions, UK&I at Tata Consultancy Services, expanding his leadership responsibilities across Consumer, Retail, Transport, Travel and Hospitality. Prior to this appointment, he served as Sales Head UK & Ireland for BFS, Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities at TCS, where he led sales for the TCS AI & Cloud Microsoft Unit and drove Microsoft Cloud adoption and customer transformation.
he brings more than two decades of experience spanning AI, cloud, enterprise technology, sales strategy and digital transformation. During his 16-year career at Microsoft, he held leadership positions including Director Cloud & AI Strategy – Solutions Sales and Director Sales – BFSI, where he led enterprise commercial businesses and strategic customer relationships. Earlier, he held technology and software roles at Intel and Patni Computer Systems. At TCS, his mandate includes leading sales and solutions teams, strengthening industry partnerships and driving AI, cloud and infrastructure transformation across UK&I.
