Sayantan Ghosh has joined CreditSea as Chief Risk Officer, bringing more than 12 years of experience across risk management, credit, underwriting, fraud risk and data science. Before joining CreditSea, he served as Chief Credit Officer at True Balance, following leadership roles as Head of Risk – Underwriting, Collections & Data Science and Head of Risk & Data Science. Earlier, he was Senior Vice President and Head of Risk Analytics & Data Science at Stashfin. He spent nearly nine years with American Express, progressing through multiple leadership roles across credit and fraud risk, responsible lending, customer management, decision sciences and enterprise analytics. His experience includes international new accounts underwriting, credit risk, fraud risk, customer management, data science and analytics-driven decision-making. At CreditSea, he takes on the mandate of leading the company’s risk function, leveraging his expertise across credit strategy, risk analytics, underwriting and data science to support responsible lending and risk management.
