Global tech giant Google is set to invest $10 billion to establish a 1-gigawatt data centre cluster in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, marking its largest direct investment in India’s digital economy. The project, expected to be operational by July 2028, will span three campuses across Adavivaram, Tarluvada, and Rambilli villages, forming the foundation of India’s first international AI infrastructure hub.
