QuilrAI has appointed Anuj Gupta as Managing Director, Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), bringing him into the company’s founding team as it expands its regional presence. He will lead business growth across APJ, strengthen enterprise engagement and partnerships, and help organisations securely adopt and operationalise agentic AI.
Anuj brings more than two decades of experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity and business leadership. Before joining QuilrAI, he spent over 12 years at Hitachi Systems India, where he served as Managing Director and CEO, leading business growth and expanding capabilities across cybersecurity, managed services and digital transformation.
His experience in scaling technology businesses and working with enterprise customers positions him to support QuilrAI’s expansion as organisations move from AI experimentation towards wider adoption of autonomous AI agents.
The appointment reflects the growing importance of AI security, governance and operational controls as enterprises integrate agentic AI into business processes.
