Yoodli Raises $40 Million Series B to Accelerate AI-Powered Roleplay & Experiential Learning Startup Stories

AI roleplay and experiential learning platform Yoodli has secured $40 million in a Series B round led by WestBridge Capital, with additional participation from Neotribe and Madrona. This latest infusion brings the company’s total funding to nearly $60 million, following its Series A round closed in May 2025.

The new capital will fuel the expansion of Yoodli’s AI coaching capabilities, analytics, and personalization engines, while strengthening its presence in enterprise learning, sales enablement, and professional development. The company also plans to scale its product, AI research, and customer success teams as it grows across global markets.

Founded in 2021 in Seattle by Varun Puri and Esha Joshi, Yoodli enables users to practice real-world communication scenarios through AI-generated roleplays. These include sales calls, leadership conversations, interviews, and feedback discussions, delivered in a private, adaptive environment with instant feedback.

The platform is already used by major enterprises such as Google, Snowflake, Databricks, RingCentral, and Sandler Sales, helping professionals sharpen communication skills faster through practice-based learning rather than content-heavy training.

WestBridge, the lead investor, has recently backed FinBox, UnifyApps, and SpeakX, while also participating in a secondary transaction in Rapido.
