Workday Appoints Abhishek Gupta as Partner Sales Leader to Accelerate Strategic Partnership and India Expansion Leadership

Workday has appointed Abhishek Gupta as Partner Sales Leader – Alliances & Partner Development, marking a significant step in strengthening its APAC presence and establishing regional operations in India. With over two decades of global experience in strategic partnerships, Abhishek will lead ecosystem expansion, partner enablement, and regional go-to-market partner initiatives.

Abhishek has previously led partner expansion and built cloud ecosystems across the JAPAC and MEA regions, enabling multi-cloud growth and establishing strategic routes-to-market with hyperscalers and enterprise software organisations.

His leadership journey includes key roles at ServiceNow, Infor, NetSuite, Oracle, Wipro, and IBM, where he built multi-region alliance strategies across JAPAC and EMEA. He has successfully driven high-value collaborations with AWS, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, HCLTech, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and EY. Most recently, he served as Director of Partnerships & Business Development at Job for Guide based in Poland, leading European market growth.

Beyond corporate leadership, Abhishek is a guest lecturer at IIM India and a sought-after speaker at SaaS, hyperscaler, and AI forums. His appointment reinforces Workday’s commitment to value-driven collaboration and partner-led expansion.
