Rob Koch has stepped into the role of Global Head of Cyber Resilience, Strategy and Execution at HSBC, where he will support the Group CISO and leadership team in advancing the organization’s global cyber strategy and transformation agenda.

In his new position, Rob will focus on strengthening cyber resilience practices across business and technology functions, leading cyber education and awareness initiatives, and driving cybersecurity transformation through strong governance and measurable outcomes. His role also includes supporting customer-centric cybersecurity services while enhancing enterprise-wide resilience capabilities.

With more than 20 years of international experience, Rob brings deep expertise in technology risk management and cybersecurity across financial services, automotive, and pharmaceutical industries. His background includes technology governance, cloud and infrastructure risk management, cyber risk identification, regulatory engagement across APAC, and operational risk advisory.
