The Standard has appointed Mohua Sengupta as its new SVP & Country Head for India, bringing onboard a distinguished leader with a rich global career spanning BFSI, technology, and digital transformation. Mohua has previously held senior roles at Novartis, Mashreq Bank, ITC Infotech, 3i Infotech, IGATE, Mphasis, Accenture, Wipro, RBC, and Unit Trust of India, where she consistently led high-impact transformation programs and large-scale strategic initiatives.

Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Mohua continues to shape the broader ecosystem as an Independent Director at Cigniti Technologies and Turtlemint, a member of the NASSCOM GCC Council, and a Board of Studies Member for Digital Transformation at NMIMS. Her entrepreneurial venture, Ventures, which uses theatre-based learning for leadership development, further reflects her holistic approach to talent and organisational growth.
