In this role, Dhakane will report to the Managing Director and will lead the company’s enterprise technology strategy and digital transformation agenda across functions.

Dhakane brings 20+ years of experience across diverse industries and complex, large-scale technology environments, including leadership roles at Sun Pharma, Ranbaxy, L’Oréal, Reliance Retail, and multiple IT consulting organizations. He is widely recognized for delivering enterprise-scale technology programs and meaningful digital transformation outcomes by partnering closely with business teams to drive measurable improvements in agility, partner experience, operational efficiency, and governance.

As Head – IT & Digital Transformation, Dhakane will focus on building a modern, secure, and scalable technology foundation while accelerating digital initiatives that support RP Tech’s growth priorities. His mandate includes strengthening cybersecurity and resilience, enabling data-led decision-making, scaling automation, and modernizing platforms to improve reliability, speed, and user experience across the organization.

As part of the digital transformation roadmap, Dhakane will also spearhead the formation of an AI Center of Excellence (AICOE) to embed AI-first thinking across operations. The initiative aims to transition RP Tech from process-driven automation to insight-driven enterprise intelligence.

Dhakane has also strengthened his leadership capability through strong academic credentials:
