Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Appoints Manmohan Shetty as Chief Financial Officer

Utkarsh Small Finance Bank has appointed Manmohan Shetty as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strengthening its finance leadership following the elevation of former CFO Sarju Simaria as Executive Director and Whole-time Director.

A Chartered Accountant with over 23 years of exemplary experience, Manmohan brings extensive expertise across banking and financial services. He most recently served as CFO of IREP Credit Capital and previously held senior leadership positions at Barclays India, including CFO of its non-banking finance business.

In his new role, Manmohan will oversee key areas including financial management, capital planning, regulatory reporting, governance and business planning. His experience across regulated financial institutions comes as small finance banks increasingly focus on sustainable growth, profitability, asset quality and regulatory compliance.

The appointment was facilitated by Venator Search Partners, which has supported more than 59 CXO-level appointments across India’s BFSI sector.
