Finance
Founded in 2022 by Amiram Shachar, Liran Polak, Lavi Ferdman and Tal Zur, Upwind provides real-time cloud security monitoring that helps organisations identify vulnerabilities, investigate suspicious activity and manage risks across cloud workloads, APIs and AI agents.
The company reports more than $50 million in annual recurring revenue and says its revenue quadrupled in 2026. The new capital will fund product development and support the company’s efforts to help organisations secure cloud and AI infrastructure as AI-driven applications and autonomous agents become more widely adopted.
Why It Matters
As enterprises accelerate AI adoption, traditional security approaches may struggle to keep pace with rapidly changing cloud environments and AI-agent activity. Real-time visibility and contextual threat detection are becoming increasingly important for identifying vulnerabilities and managing emerging cyber risks.
CXO TechBOT Perspective
Upwind’s funding highlights growing investor confidence in cloud-native and AI security. For CIOs and CISOs, integrating real-time security intelligence into enterprise infrastructure will be critical to protecting workloads, APIs and AI systems as organisations adopt more AI-driven technologies.
