Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has introduced its Industrial Intelligence Foundry, an AI-powered offering designed to bring artificial intelligence agents into factory operations and industrial workflows. The initiative aims to help manufacturers integrate AI into engineering and production processes without developing specialised applications from scratch.
According to TCS, the platform could enable companies to achieve 25% faster product launches and up to 25% higher manufacturing productivity. It is designed to support multiple industrial functions, including product design, production, equipment performance monitoring and quality management.
The Industrial Intelligence Foundry targets sectors such as aerospace, semiconductors and energy, where manufacturers are increasingly exploring AI to improve operational efficiency, accelerate innovation and strengthen quality control.
TCS expects potential productivity improvements to exceed 40% as organisations enhance their data infrastructure and capabilities, enabling more effective deployment of AI-driven solutions.
However, the company has not disclosed customer deployments or published case studies validating these projected gains. The stated improvements therefore represent anticipated outcomes rather than independently verified results from customer implementations.
