Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has appointed Amit Kapur as the Global Chief AI and Services Transformation Officer, effective September 1. In this newly created role, he will report to Aarti Subramanian, Executive Director, President, and Chief Operating Officer at TCS.

With over two decades at TCS, Kapur has been instrumental in driving the company’s growth across international markets. He has led major initiatives in business transformation, client engagement, and technology adoption, contributing to TCS’s strong leadership in digital and IT services.

Kapur currently heads TCS’ business in the UK & Ireland. During his tenure, he has also served as Director & Head of Benelux and Country Head, Netherlands, where he successfully expanded client partnerships and market presence.

In his new role, Kapur will focus on building and scaling TCS’s AI and Services Transformation unit, integrating artificial intelligence, innovation, and modernization to deliver next-generation services for global clients.
