Airtel has appointed Sunil Bharti Mittal as the chairman of the company for another five-year tenure from October 1, 2026. The appointment was made following the recommendation of the Human Resource and Nomination Committee at a recent board meeting held on May 13. Provided the shareholders' approval, the extension will enable Mittal to lead the company till September 2031.
