Visionary Leader Subarno Bhattacharyya has been elevated to the position of Joint Director of Digital Learning & Online Education at O.P. Jindal Global University, an Institution of Eminence located in Sonipat, India. The appointment will be effective from April 1, 2026.

In his new role, Subarno will lead initiatives focused on advancing digital learning frameworks, strengthening online education programs, and driving technology-led transformation in higher education. His work will focus on integrating emerging technologies, enhancing digital learning platforms, and supporting scalable capacity-building initiatives for students and faculty.

Subarno currently serves as Assistant Director at O.P. Jindal Global University, where he has been actively involved in research on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and digital transformation in education. His work includes advancing the role of artificial intelligence in higher education and developing modern learning ecosystems.

Prior to joining JGU, he held key academic and administrative roles at Manipal University Jaipur and JIS Group, contributing to curriculum development, university governance, and digital education initiatives.
