Shubham Housing Finance has announced the appointment of Uma Sharma as its new Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), strengthening the company’s leadership team as it accelerates its people and growth agenda.

A seasoned Human Capital Strategist, Sharma brings decades of experience in shaping talent ecosystems, driving organizational development, and building inclusive, high-performance cultures. Her expertise spans leadership development, workforce planning, HR digital transformation, and employee experience design.

Before joining Shubham Housing Finance, Sharma served as National Head – Business HR & Talent Acquisition at PNB Housing Finance, where she led enterprise-wide people initiatives, succession planning, and large-scale talent acquisition programs supporting nationwide expansion. Her earlier roles include senior HR leadership positions at HDFC ERGO General Insurance, Apollo Munich Health Insurance, VLCC Health Care, and Max Bupa Health Insurance, in addition to foundational HR roles at Sony India and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare.

Known for her people-first philosophy and data-driven leadership, Sharma has been recognized throughout her career for enhancing talent management frameworks, improving hiring efficiency, and strengthening organizational culture.
