Col. Shekhar A., SM (Retd) has been appointed as APAC Regional Security Leader at Collins Aerospace, where he will oversee and strengthen security operations across the Asia-Pacific region. In this leadership role, he will drive regional risk assessments, implement strategic security frameworks, and enhance corporate security functions including physical security, incident response, risk management, compliance, and business continuity.

With extensive experience in defense and corporate security leadership, Shekhar Attri previously served as Head of India Security Services at Pratt & Whitney, where he led key security initiatives and operational protection strategies. Earlier, he held distinguished leadership positions in the Indian Army, including serving as Senior Director (Colonel) in the Special Forces, building deep expertise in strategic defense operations and crisis management.

He holds a Master’s degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from the University of Madras and is currently pursuing a PhD focused on leveraging artificial intelligence in crisis management. He is also the author of the book Gen Z & The Corporate Reboot.

His appointment is expected to further strengthen Collins Aerospace’s regional security strategy and organizational resilience across APAC.
