Ltd. has appointed Sharad Agarwal as its Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership move as the company accelerates its growth strategy in India’s financial services landscape. Sharad brings over 20 years of cross-functional experience spanning digital technology, operations, customer service, finance, quality, and program management across the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector.

Prior to this appointment, Sharad served as Chief Operating Officer at U GRO Capital, where he played a key role in scaling operations and strengthening digital lending capabilities. He has also held CEO roles at RapiMoney and Finree (Fintree Finance), and led operations and technology at Roha Housing Finance. His long association with Religare Finvest saw him oversee enterprise-wide operations, technology, quality, and PMO functions, driving large-scale digitization and shared services transformation. Earlier in his career, he held senior IT leadership roles at Max New York Life Insurance and CitiFinancial.

Known for building high-performing teams and end-to-end operating infrastructures from start-up to growth stage, Sharad brings deep expertise in enterprise IT strategy, shared services, finance operations, and large-scale program execution. His appointment is expected to further strengthen Profectus Capital’s operational excellence and digital-first growth agenda.
