Serge Majdalani has joined Jadwa Investment as Director, where he will focus on private credit investments spanning mezzanine and structured credit. He brings extensive experience across private credit, special situations and debt advisory. Before joining Jadwa Investment, he served as Executive – Head of Underwriting at 1970 Group, where he joined as one of the firm’s earliest employees and played a key role in building its underwriting, portfolio management and compliance functions.
Serge expertise includes credit underwriting, investment guidelines, portfolio management, structured credit and special situations. At 1970 Group, he established relationships with corporates, sponsors, ratings agencies and insurance brokers, chaired the investment committee and built a team of credit analysts across New York and the Philippines. Earlier, he was Vice President at Rothschild & Co in debt advisory and Director – Investments at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, focusing on special situations and private credit. At Jadwa Investment, his experience will support the firm’s private credit platform and investment activities.
