RapidCanvas raises $29 million in Series B funding led by Vertex Ventures Enterprise AI

RapidCanvas, a managed artificial intelligence execution company, has raised $29 million in a Series B funding round led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India to expand its enterprise AI solutions and engineering capabilities. The investment brings the company's total funding to $52.5 million.

Hitachi Ventures joined the company's investor base, while existing investors Accel, Peak XV Partners, Valley Capital Partners and Titanium Ventures also participated in the round.

RapidCanvas plans to use the funding to expand its go-to-market teams, strengthen its network of private equity and advisory partners, and grow its field AI engineering teams across India, the United States and Brazil. The company combines an AI platform with specialised engineers who develop, deploy and manage customised AI applications for enterprise clients.

Founded to help organisations move beyond AI experimentation, RapidCanvas targets businesses with annual revenues ranging from $100 million to $10 billion. Its solutions aim to help enterprises implement AI applications in production and generate measurable business outcomes.

Why It Matters

The funding highlights growing investor interest in enterprise AI companies that address the gap between pilot projects and production-ready deployments. Businesses are increasingly seeking scalable AI solutions that deliver practical operational and commercial value.

RapidCanvas' funding reflects the shift towards outcome-driven enterprise AI adoption. For CIOs and technology leaders, combining AI platforms with specialised engineering expertise can help accelerate implementation, strengthen governance and translate AI investments into business results.
