Intas Pharmaceuticals has announced the appointment of Rajasekhar Akkaraju (Raj) as its Chief Quality Officer, reinforcing the company’s commitment to global quality excellence and regulatory compliance. With extensive experience across pharmaceuticals, biosimilars, and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), Rajasekhar brings deep expertise in building and strengthening enterprise-wide quality frameworks.

In his new role, he will lead the organization’s quality strategy, focusing on enhancing compliance standards, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring robust regulatory alignment across international markets. Known for his strategic leadership, Rajasekhar has consistently driven quality transformation initiatives that support both innovation and scale.

Prior to joining Intas Pharmaceuticals, he held senior leadership positions at globally recognized organizations including Teva Pharmaceuticals, Abbott, Viatris, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, and Pfizer. Throughout his career, he has successfully led global quality systems, reinforced compliance structures, and elevated R&D and manufacturing standards.
