Deeptech
NuSynth’s platform combines predictive synthesis models, experimental data and an AI engine to identify alternative chemical synthesis pathways. By evaluating raw materials, reaction routes and process economics, it aims to improve manufacturing costs, yield, safety, sustainability and scalability.
The startup is initially targeting pharmaceuticals and electronics chemicals, with plans to develop proprietary chemical processes for commercial applications across chemistry-led industries.
Founded by Poorvank Purohit and Dr Ramesha A R, alongside Abhishek Deo and Dipak Bajaj, NuSynth brings together expertise in pharmaceutical leadership, scientific research and business execution.
The fresh capital will support R&D and technology development, the creation of proprietary processes, scale-up capabilities and team expansion.
Why It Matters
NuSynth’s approach highlights the growing role of AI in industrial R&D. By using experimental data to guide subsequent research, the company aims to reduce trial and error, accelerate chemical innovation and strengthen India’s capabilities in advanced manufacturing.
