Nehal Shah joins ASK Group as Group Head – Legal, Compliance & Secretarial, bringing over two decades of experience in corporate governance and regulatory affairs

Nehal Shah has joined ASK Group as Group Head – Legal, Compliance & Secretarial. She brings over two decades of experience across legal, compliance, secretarial, audit and corporate governance, with expertise spanning asset management, investment banking, wealth management, institutional equities, private equity, credit rating agencies and NBFC operations.

Before joining ASK Group, Nehal served as Executive Director – Group Head Legal & Compliance at Ambit Private Limited. Earlier, she held leadership positions at CARE Ratings as Senior Director and Head – Compliance, Legal and Secretarial, and at YES Asset Management as President and Head – Compliance, Legal & Secretarial.

Her professional journey also includes compliance leadership roles at Deutsche Equities India and Deutsche Asset Management, along with earlier experience at Fidelity FundsNetwork and Aditya Birla Nuvo.

A qualified Company Secretary and law graduate, Nehal also holds a postgraduate qualification in Securities Laws.
