Asahi India Glass Limited (AIS) has appointed Naveen Kumar as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) - Auto Division, strengthening its people leadership as the company accelerates growth across its automotive glass business. In this role, Naveen will lead the People & Culture agenda for the Auto Division, with a strong focus on future-ready talent, shop-floor excellence, workforce planning, and capability building, aligned with AIS’s long-term manufacturing and growth ambitions.

With over 13 years of experience at AIS, Naveen brings deep expertise in manufacturing HR, industrial relations, organizational development, and large-scale workforce management. Prior to this elevation, he served as General Manager – Corporate HR, and earlier held leadership roles including Deputy General Manager – HR, Manager – HR, and Deputy Manager – HR, supporting multi-plant manufacturing operations and group-level HR governance across AIS.

Before joining AIS, Naveen gained foundational HR experience at Halonix Ltd. Founded in 1987, Asahi India Glass Limited, promoted by the Labroo family, Asahi Glass Co. Ltd. (AGC), and Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), is India’s leading integrated glass solutions company and a dominant player in automotive glass, listed on the NSE and BSE.
