Enterprise AI
NCS, a Singapore-based IT and communications engineering company owned by Singtel, has opened an AI Mission Centre in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore, to help organisations move AI projects from experimentation to large-scale deployment.
Launched on October 29, 2026, the centre will support enterprise AI adoption through a growing team of forward-deployed engineers. NCS plans to increase this workforce from 100 to more than 300 over the next two years through recruitment and employee reskilling.
These engineers will work directly with clients to identify business challenges, develop AI solutions and integrate them into existing operations.
Alongside the launch, NCS signed three Memorandums of Understanding with Changi Airport Group, the Institute of Mental Health and Life3 Biotech to develop AI applications across aviation, healthcare and biotechnology.
Projects include AI-powered runway debris detection, patient identification systems and biotechnology applications.
NCS CEO Sam Liew said the initiative aims to help organisations turn AI strategies into practical solutions that they can eventually manage independently.
