Austin, Texas-headquartered Mythic AI has launched a Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru as the semiconductor company expands its engineering presence in India. Mythic AI plans to quadruple the size of its India engineering team by the first quarter of 2027.
The Bengaluru centre will support the development of Mythic AI’s analogue AI chips across VLSI design, physical design, design-for-test and systems engineering. The expansion is aimed at strengthening the company’s engineering capabilities as it advances its AI computing technology.
Taner Ozcelik, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said Bengaluru will play an important role in Mythic AI’s next phase of growth, highlighting India’s depth of semiconductor engineering talent.
The company’s Vanguard platform is positioned for high-density AI computing, with Mythic AI claiming that one unit can deliver the output of 650 racks.
