Meesho has appointed Sudhir Sitapati, former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL), as an Independent Director on its Board. The appointment was approved on October 28, 2026, marking a significant addition to the company's board leadership.
Sudhir brings over 25 years of experience across the FMCG and consumer goods sectors, with expertise in sales, marketing, brand building and business leadership. Before joining Meesho, he led GCPL for nearly five years. Prior to that, he spent more than two decades at Hindustan Unilever Limited, holding several leadership positions, including Executive Director for Foods and Refreshments.
His appointment brings extensive consumer market understanding and strategic business experience to Meesho as it continues to expand its e-commerce presence across India.
