Nilesh brings over 22 years of experience in the life insurance industry, with expertise in financial strategy, capital and solvency management, business planning, governance and finance transformation. Before joining Mahindra Manulife, he served as CFO at PNB MetLife India Insurance and held senior finance leadership positions at Bharti AXA Life and SBI Life Insurance.
In his new role, Nilesh will focus on establishing a future-ready finance function, strengthening financial governance and building scalable processes to support sustainable business growth. His mandate will also include capital management and technology-led transformation.
Recognised as CFO of the Year in 2022 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Nilesh holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai and a Diploma in Information Systems Audit.
