GEON, the future technologies division of Kabra Extrusiontechnik Ltd., has appointed Industry Veteran Mahender Singh as Chief Operating Officer (COO), strengthening its leadership team as the company expands its presence in energy storage and electric mobility solutions.

With more than 25 years of exemplary experience across the automotive, electric vehicle, electronics, and industrial manufacturing sectors, Mahender brings deep expertise in operational excellence, business transformation, and large-scale manufacturing leadership. In his new role, he will oversee manufacturing, sourcing, R&D engineering, and plant operations while driving strategic growth, quality enhancement, after-sales service, organizational development, and customer engagement.

Prior to joining GEON, Mahender served as President at Varroc Engineering, where he managed operations across 17 manufacturing plants and led a workforce of over 10,000 employees. His experience includes overseeing multi-entity business portfolios and global operations across Europe and Asia.

His appointment is expected to accelerate GEON’s growth ambitions in lithium-ion batteries, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), sustainable energy solutions, and the rapidly growing EV ecosystem.
