Industry Veteran KRC Murty has assumed the role of Executive Vice President - Head IT (BS) at SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd., bringing over three decades of experience in Information Technology and the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) sector. Prior to this, he served as Senior President – Head of AMG, Business & Digital Technology Solutions at YES BANK, overseeing end-to-end delivery of “Run the Bank” operations, digital channels, core banking systems, applications, infrastructure, and business engagement functions.

His professional journey spans Times Bank, HDFC Bank, DSP Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank AG, and Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he consistently focused on aligning technology with business outcomes, driving operational efficiency, modernizing platforms, and implementing strong IT governance.
