John Cockerill India Limited has appointed Ujwal Kawale as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth across domestic and international markets.

With over 18 years of global experience in industrial project management, engineering strategy, and operations, Ujwal brings a unique blend of technical depth and strategic foresight. An alumnus of BITS Pilani (M.Tech – Manufacturing Management), he also holds a Post-Graduate Program in Management Studies from Welingkar Institute, Mumbai, and a B.E. in Production Engineering from Shivaji University, Kolhapur.

Previously, Ujwal served as Global Project Director – Metals Business at John Cockerill Industry, Belgium, where he led complex multi-entity projects across Europe, the US, and India, enhancing profitability and operational agility.

In his new role, Ujwal will lead end-to-end project execution, strategic growth initiatives, and innovation-driven transformation—strengthening John Cockerill India’s position in the global industrial landscape.
