JSW Steel has appointed Sandiep Batra as President & Chief Human Resources Officer – Steel Corporate, reinforcing its commitment to building a strong, agile, and future-ready workforce. With over three decades of HR leadership across airports, digital services, telecom, retail, manufacturing, and defense, Sandiep is set to elevate the company’s people strategy as it strengthens capability building and accelerates organizational transformation.

Before joining JSW Steel, Sandiep served as CHRO at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd, where he led HR initiatives across eight airports and multiple joint ventures, driving large-scale talent, culture, and digital HR programs. His earlier leadership roles at Landmark Group, Vodafone Idea Limited, Vodafone, Bharti Teletech, Cendant Corporation, and Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd enabled him to shape organisation design, talent development, and technology-enabled HR excellence at scale.

An alumnus of University of Delhi and IIM Calcutta, Sandiep brings a blend of strategic vision and people-first leadership to JSW Steel. His appointment marks a significant step toward strengthening the company’s talent ecosystem and aligning HR with long-term growth ambitions.
